Early symptoms of diabetes mellitus are important warning signs for diabetics.

Diabetes mellitus is the official name for “sugar diabetes” but it is simple referred to as diabetes.

Both of these conditions are dangerous and are in the opposite direction of the normal blood sugar range.

To be able to have relative control of your blood sugar level it is important to know the the early signs of hyperglycemia and the early signs of hypoglycemia.

If you notice any of the symptoms of hyperglycaemia and hypoglycaemia it is necessary that you do a blood sugar test to see how low or how high the blood sugar level is.

If the blood sugar level is too low eat something and rest a bit. If the blood sugar level is too high drink more water and increase the level of physical activity.

The best advice is to talk to your medical team to get accurate information as to what to do in each situation.

Advice could also be sought as to how family or friends could help in emergency situations when you are unable to help yourself.
